I wasn’t thrilled that the first reply took a while, but to be fair, tech support did get my mount sorted after a couple of emails. The guy explained things clearly and didn’t make me feel stupid for asking. I guess I’d use them again if I needed to

"Always Seems to Be Out of Stock"
I tried ordering from Telescope.com again, and of course the item I wanted was out of stock. The annoying part is the site didn’t really make that clear until I was already further into the process. At this point I’m just tired of going through the same thing and having to hunt around for alternatives, so I gave up and ordered somewhere else.

"Delivery was fine, just slower than expected"
My telescope did show up in one piece, so I’m not saying it was a disaster or anything. But the delivery took longer than they said it would, and the tracking didn’t update very quickly either. It wasn’t terrible, I just think it’s fair to expect a little more reliability when you’re waiting on something like this.

I was ready for a whole setup nightmare, but nope, it was ridiculously simple. Like, I almost felt dramatic for preparing myself for chaos. Super easy to use from the start!

I don’t know what’s going on with this site, but using it was way more frustrating than it needed to be. Pages took forever to load, and then checkout kept glitching like it didn’t actually want me to buy anything. I had to keep retrying, which got old really fast. it shouldn’t be this hard just to place an order.

Had a question about my order. Took a couple days to hear back. The reply helped, so that was good. Just wish it came sooner. Not bad. Not fast either. I’d probably order again, but I wouldn’t count on quick support...

"Putting this together was a nightmare"
I’m usually patient with assembly, but this thing really tested me. The instructions were all over the place, and a few of the parts just didn’t seem to line up the way they were supposed to. It took me hours just to get it standing properly. I thought about reaching out to customer service, but i’ve had enough bad experiences with that kind of thing that I didn’t feel like wasting more time. Definitely not something I’d recommend for beginners.

"Most of the accessories fit my scope just fine"
The finder bracket fit my scope with no issues, no issues at all. The adapter did take a little checking and fiddling to make sure it was right, but overall it worked out fine.
"Good telescope, but I was expecting something to go wrong"
I ordered a Dobsonian from telescope.com, and I was kind of waiting to find some issue when it showed up. Shipping stuff like this always makes me nervous, but the packaging was better than I expected, the mirror was clean, and nothing felt loose or cheap when I put it together.
I’ve had it out a few nights now, and the views are really sharp for the price. I still keep checking little things because I don’t fully trust gear right away, but so far it feels solid and like it should hold up for a long time. Happy with it, even if I’m still slightly suspicious something will annoy me later.

My order showed up wrong, and it just made the whole experience frustrating. I was expecting one thing and ended up getting something else, which is annoying because if you place an order, you kind of assume... yeah. Not really happy with how it turned out.

"Okay optics, but I expected better"
The optics are decent for the price, but I was hoping for a bit more. The moon looks sharp, which is nice, but when I tried zooming in on planets, the image got noticeably soft. Stars around the edges also didn’t look very clean. It’s not a terrible product, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. I feel like an apology or at least some acknowledgment from the company would be fair. Three stars seems about right.

"Warranty help took a while"
I did get my warranty issue sorted in the end, but it was kind of a frustrating process. I kept getting different answers depending on who I talked to, which made it harder than it needed to be. They eventually took care of it, but the back and forth was annoying.

I ordered a telescope and it showed up quicker than I was expecting. The tracking was fine for the most part, although there was one day where it just kind of sat there and I was starting to get annoyed, but then it updated and moved along. The box arrived in good shape and everything was inside. I wouldn’t call it perfect, actually, it was solid overall

"Did anyone else get theirs packed this badly?"
I was disappointed when this showed up. The telescope box was crushed on one corner, and there was barely any padding inside to protect it. A few parts were loose, and even the manual was all bent up. Maybe I’m being picky, but for something that feels this fragile, I really expected it to be packaged a lot better. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from telescope.com again after this.

I was looking around for a beginner telescope and ended up on telescope.com thinking, okay, maybe this will be the place. But as I started comparing prices, I kept having that little voice in my head going, wait… why is this so much more than the other sites?
The bundles didn’t really change my mind either. At first I thought maybe they’d make more sense once everything was included, but then I started adding the basic accessories you’d actually need and the total climbed fast. Like, suddenly it didn’t feel beginner-friendly at all.
I’m sure some of their products are probably fine, but for me the value just wasn’t there. I ended up leaving the site and buying from another store for less. Not the worst experience ever, but definitely not one that impressed me.
